This unit consists of areas where more than 85% of the surface is covered by asphalt, concrete, buildings, and other impervious surfaces. Examples are parking lots, shopping centers, and industrial parks. These areas are maily along the Monongahela River and near larger cities and towns. The areas range from 2 to 400 acres. Examination and identification of soils or materials in this unit are impractical. Onsite investigation is needed to determine the suitabilities and potentials for any use.
