Graduate School in Psychology

Applicant's Guide to Graduate School Admissions. This is a link to a textbook describing how to apply to graduate school. Several of the chapters are on line but you will have to buy the complete text from the author to get the full value of the book.

Cozby This is the home page of Paul C. Cozby, the author of one of the better Research Methods texts. It has lots of good information including a list of links to other web sites.
Research Labs This page contains links to some of the research laboratories with on-line pages.
Research Reports This site provides an excellent writing guide for APA format reports.
Psychological Testing
This is the Fair Access Coalition for Testing (FACT) site. It contains information from a group dedicated to fair testing practices. It is an advocacy/lobbying group that seeks to make tests more available to non-psychologists.
This site provides information on Buros Mental Measurements books and psychological test locater and review information. It uses the ERIC database for its test locater.
Test Finder This is one of the ERIC sites. It is a psychological test locater. Enter the trait you want to measure and this site will search a database of more than 10,000 tests to see find tests that assess this trait.
Code of Fair Testing Practices This is the Code of Fair Testing Practices in Education published in The American Psychologist in 1992. It spells out guidelines for test developers and test users in education.
Ethical Standards for School Counselors This is one page on the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) site. It is a full version of the ethical standards for school counselors. You have to register to access this site.
