Sculpture and Communication

I have long been interested in the aesthetics of communication and this has led me to pursue my studies in storytelling, oral interpretation, philosophy and art.  Recently my efforts have been directed towards professional organizations in the arts just as my own academic pursuits have taken a similar direction.  My involvement as an artist/scholar allows me to approach human communication from a different, but related, point of view.  Themes addressed in my sculpture range from social commentary to personal relationships; often comment upon or question ethical, moral or spiritual aspects of our lives; and relate directly to the content of my courses.
