scolex of Diphyllobothrium latum. This is a pseudophyllidean tapeworm and has "sucking slits" called bothria rather than suckers or acetabula as in the cyclophyllideans.  The scolex is also unarmed or without a hooked rostellum.  This tapeworm is often called the broad or fish tapeworm.  Freshwater fish are the second intermediate host.  100x
